Albany Creek
Albany Creek is a Brisbane suburb around 17km north of the Brisbane CBD. The leafy suburb adjoins the prestige Bridgeman Downs area and is popular with families seeking a pleasant suburban life not too far from the city.
Albany Creek is a large suburb with a population exceeding 15,000. The suburb features plenty of great facilities and a thriving shopping and business community.
There is an older side and a newer side to Albany Creek, which is split by Old Northern Rd. Heading north along this road, the developments to the left are the more recent, with some very large and impressive homes featuring in parts of the area. To the right of Old Northern Rd lays the original parts of Albany Creek, with most houses dating back to the seventies and eighties.
Although Albany Creek is well services by a number of different Brisbane City Council bus services, operating to different major centres including Chermside and the city, the suburb does suffer from the lack of a train station.
